How We’re Keeping Safe During the COVID-19 Pandemic

This pandemic is such a big deal right now, I’ve never seen anything like it. I know many businesses are closing right now, and it makes me so nervous for all the small business owners out there. As a society, I know we’re all doing everything that we can to stay safe right now.

Being an Arizona birth and newborn photographer I’ve been taking all possible precautions to keep myself, my family, and my clients as safe as possible.

I wanted to share a few things I’ve been doing for my business to ensure I’m keeping safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unfortunately at this time all of my birth and fresh 48 sessions have been canceled. All of our hospital policies have changed and no longer allow additional people in the delivery and postpartum rooms. As of right now it’s spouses only – and I’m very eager for that to change, but I don’t think it’ll happen anytime soon.

As for all of my studio sessions, I’ve been very thorough on making sure that I’m disinfecting it after every session. I have a baby safe all purpose spray that I use on any item that cannot be washed, otherwise everything goes straight from my studio into the washing machine. I spray a disinfectant over all surfaces after my session as well.

I make sure to wash my hands directly before and after my sessions, as well as use a thorough amount of hand sanitizer in my session. I really want to do my best at keeping safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. I know it’s such a sensitive time right now.

If you’re ready to set up your session with us, or have any questions on how to prepare for a birth session (with me, of course) – feel free to take a look at our package list and contact us!

If you’re searching for an Arizona Birth + Newborn Photographer, please contact me to schedule your session today; I only accept a limited amount of births per month to ensure adequate time around each due date.
