I want all the little memories you never want to forget, not the perfect posed christmas card picture. i will still make sure to get one of those ‘everyone look at me and smile’ shots, but it’s not my end goal.

First and foremost, please know it’s okay for them to be shy. I have kids, I completely understand it. Just trust the process!
Second and most important, please do not use the time during your session to discipline your kids. I’m going to ask them to do silly things. It’s okay if they don’t *listen*. We want their real personality to shine through and as long as they’re being safe, it’s okay to be a little naughty. Just take a breath, and smile. It’s going to be just fine!
I only shoot outdoors October-May, otherwise it’s just way too hot.
The only exception to that is maternity, since it obviously can’t always be scheduled specifically during that time. Maternity sessions are best to be scheduled between 30-34 weeks pregnant.
The locations I use are central to North Phoenix, I prefer a select list of locations to ensure the style is consistent with my work.
Following booking I will email out a style guide to help create cohesive outfits that complement each other, without being too matched.
Yes! I will completely direct your family into prompts to create the images I’m aiming to capture. These poses are going to encourage interaction with your family to create those candid images we love!
