this little peanut was so cute, he did so good for his session.

I don’t usually love shooting on super dark colors – but I do love how his gallery came out. sometimes, it’s so dark, that baby looks like they’re kind of floating – but his is just perfect.

and, the dark blue mixed with the barn wood – swoon; totally loving it!

Dylan’s big sister wasn’t too excited about her portion, which is understandable at two years old (she might have been under two, I can’t remember). but regardless, she did so good! she’s just as cute as a button. <3

in my venture of finding my style as a newborn photographer, I really love the dark and shadow-y images. which I know some people don’t love, but it gets me every time! how can you not love it, it adds such dimension to baby’s features. it accentuates that little button nose, and their tiny little lips – yep, I love it. 🙂

and just look at that little smile Dylan gave us in his last setup – so adorable! I love when I catch a baby smiling! you can’t look at a smiling baby and not smile, try it.
